Zoe Zimick prioritizes the wearer’s experience in her designs, creating clothing that fits the body comfortably and allows for freedom of movement without compromising aesthetics. Her design language is deeply rooted in her passion for dance and belief that clothing should be made to fit the body, not the other way around. Drawing inspiration from sports, dance, and loungewear, Zoe aims to narrow the gap between leisure and fashion.
Self Awareness
2024 Thesis Collection
Self Awareness aims to facilitate the reconnection between the mind and body, compromised by the over-saturation of social media in today’s technologically centered culture. Through various methods to intentionally provide bodily stimulation, such as drawstrings, cutouts, weighted jewelry, comfortable fabrics that allow for unrestricted movement, and textiles that mimic the internal body, each garment becomes an experience that will create a renewed sense of peace and bodily awareness for the wearer.
Upholstery
Draping Experimentation

Fore!
Kiawah Set and Cabana Dress
Named after the iconic vacation and golf destination, The Kiawah Set reimagines a polo and trousers; the classic golf uniform. Featuring hand-cut and painted appliqués depicting an aerial view of a golf course, this set celebrates the game that shaped American culture, lifestyle, and fashion.
Inspired by the country club pools adjacent to golf courses, The Cabana dress is a wool shift dress with a vinyl cutout that reveals swimwear worn underneath. The bold orange color and wired hems are reminiscent of umbrellas that are often lining pool decks.
Metro Anorak
Created abroad at Parsons Paris
Inspired by the aesthetics of Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, The Metro Anorak adds whimsy to the typical windbreaker. Adjustable drawcords placed throughout the jacket allow the wearer to adjust the shape for comfort, fit, and aesthetics.
